ASK ASSISTED LIVING ADVICE FROM HOME HEALTH STAFF
Generally speaking, home health and hospice care companies have certified nursing assistants and registered nurses that visit numerous assisted livings on a daily basis and have no affiliation to any of them. They can tell you which communities have horrible communication, cooperation, staffing issues or just plain stink, literally.
It’s a simple idea to ask them their personal opinion of your prospective communities. Many elderly people receive home health care in their own home prior to needing assisted living. Their care representatives often develop bonds and want to make sure that their patient resides at an assisted living that is going to take care of them. Most of these companies are based out of office buildings, take the extra effort and search these people out!
