Michael has been passionately serving the elderly since 1993. He started his journey as a caregiver for his grandparents who both had dementia. He lived with his grandparents and also cared for them, until they moved into an assisted living community. Michael began his career as a server and dishwasher where his grandparents resided. Since that time he has served in many positions including C.N.A., Cook, Marketing Director and Executive Director. He contributed to the opening of a new assisted living and memory care community in 2006.
He has spent his entire career in assisted living and memory care. Michael’s passion for serving seniors led him to further his education. He became a licensed gerontologist; earning his Master’s degree in Geriatric Care Management. Michael has learned that there are great assisted living communities that can provide quality care. But he had to learn from trial and error that not every community was a great fit for his grandparent. Michael looks forward to getting to know you and your loved ones. He is eager to learn how he can best help the individual needs of your family.
